The term ‘Third Culture Kid’ is becoming popular for people who feel that their identities are formed of both their ancestral heritage and the new society they live in; the ‘Third Culture’ emerges from the blend of heritage and new surroundings into a unique identity, that has evolved out of each individual person’s journeys, knowledge and experiences.
Help us to represent Scotland’s Third Culture Kids: your images will create the first archvie that shows the multiple places that form the identity of Scotland’s Third Culture Kids: this will suggest new ways of representing the uniqueness of each person to libraries and other cultural institutions that represent the people of Scotland.
Photographs can be from way back, representing the origins of your ancestors’ journey, or from a few days ago, or even today – you chose how you are represented.
