POSTPONED
Join us for a workshop celebrating St Brides’ Day and Imbolc, the Celtic feast of Spring’s awakening on 01 February.
The event will open with a welcome by Deirdre MacKenna then artists Alexander and Susan Maris will give a ten minute introduction to their approach to producing the exhibition season + for St Bride, and their wider project The Well at the World’s End, and how they articulate aspects of the cultural and environmental character of Argyll.
The event is designed to create opportunities for dialogue between people interested in the processes of culture-production in rural and coastal situations with evident cultural histories.
We would like to encourage questions which enquire about deep-research, long-term projects, intangible environmental change and making sense of a micro-local focus in wider contexts.
